Codexa for ecommerce

Storefronts, catalogs, carts, and payment integrations.

Generate a storefront with a product catalog and cart, connect Razorpay or Stripe through workspace integrations, and deploy as a static site backed by your API.

A typical workflow

Building a store that you can actually take payments on.

  1. Step 1: Start from the storefront template

Catalog, product page, and cart in React + Vite.

  2. Step 2: Add a backend

An Express API for orders, or connect your existing database.

  3. Step 3: Connect payments

Add a Stripe or Razorpay connection at workspace level; keys are encrypted.

  4. Step 4: Deploy

Publish and point your domain with a CNAME.

Example project ideas

Starting prompts you can paste into Codexa. Each one maps to a starter template and produces real, editable code.

  • A D2C storefront with variants, cart, and Razorpay checkout
  • A digital downloads shop with license keys issued after payment
  • A catalog site with WhatsApp enquiry buttons for a local business
  • An order management panel for a small warehouse

Limitations to know about

  • AI generation requires an Anthropic or OpenAI API key configured by the operator of your Codexa instance; without one the agent shows a "not configured" state.
  • Generated code is a starting point. Review it like any other contribution before shipping to customers.
  • Starter templates currently cover single-page React apps, static sites, and Node + Express APIs. Other stacks can be imported from GitHub but have not been tuned for the sandbox.
  • Codexa does not process your customers' payments. Payment integrations call Stripe or Razorpay from your project using your own keys; PCI obligations remain with you and your payment provider.
