Codexa for internal tools

Admin panels, dashboards, and workflow tools in hours.

Point Codexa at an existing PostgreSQL database, browse the schema, and generate the CRUD screens your operations team keeps asking for.

A typical workflow

Replacing a spreadsheet with an app.

  1. Step 1: Connect the database

Add a PostgreSQL or Supabase connection; the schema browser shows tables and columns.

  2. Step 2: Describe the screens

List, detail, edit, and approval views; the agent generates them.

  3. Step 3: Add roles

Use workspace roles for who can edit versus view.

  4. Step 4: Deploy privately

Keep the project private and share with your team only.

Example project ideas

Starting prompts you can paste into Codexa. Each one maps to a starter template and produces real, editable code.

  • A vendor onboarding tracker with document checklists
  • A refund approvals queue with two-step sign-off
  • A content moderation console
  • An inventory count tool for a warehouse team

Limitations to know about

  • AI generation requires an Anthropic or OpenAI API key configured by the operator of your Codexa instance; without one the agent shows a "not configured" state.
  • Generated code is a starting point. Review it like any other contribution before shipping to customers.
  • Starter templates currently cover single-page React apps, static sites, and Node + Express APIs. Other stacks can be imported from GitHub but have not been tuned for the sandbox.
  • The SQL runner asks for confirmation before destructive statements but cannot prevent every mistake; connect read replicas or scoped database roles for safety.
